Advanced Training - For Practitioners Only
The Treasure Chest:
Evoking & Awakening movement from the upper thoracic area

Moshe Feldenkrais referred to the upper thoracic area, particularly the space between the shoulder blades and it's front counterpart the sternum, as "the last frontier" of awareness.
This is indeed a "treasure chest" for our practices, whether we access it through ATM lessons or with hands on FI practices. We will thus address issues like:

– Movement of the 7th cervical and 1st thoracic vertebrae and the famous "dowager's hump"
– Movement of the spine between the shoulder blades movement of the sternum differentiated from the vertebral bodies.
